Police Looking for Suspects Connected to Gas Station Robbery

The Southington Police Department is seeking two male suspects following a robbery at a Fleet Gas Station.

On Saturday, Nov. 16, police were called to the Fleet Gas Station at the intersection of Clark Street and Meriden Waterbury Road. A clerk reported that two black males entered his business. As they entered one of the males displayed a handgun and pointed it at the clerk demanding cash. The second male following the male with the handgun bypassed the first male and went directly to the clerk ordering him to open the cash register.

After the cash drawer was opened the second male removed an undetermined amount of cash and they both exited the business on foot without further incident. They were last seen heading in a westerly direction from the business.

The first male is described as a black male, 6’-0” tall, 230 lbs., wearing a Yankee hat, grey/black pants, black sweater and black shoes with red laces.

The second male is described as a black male 5’-10” tall, 200 lbs., grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information or knows of the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Detective Beal at the Southington Police Department (860) 378-1645 or via email mbeal@southingtonpolice.org.
