Police search for Dunkin Donuts robbery suspect

The Southington Police Department are searching for a man that allegedly robbed the Dunkin Donuts at 262 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike.

Police received a call about a robbery shortly after 6 a.m.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male approx 5’8″-6’0″, described as Hispanic or Mexican, with a stocky build,  dark mustache and beard, eye glasses clear with no visible rims, gauge style earrings  black hooded sweatshirt, hood up, small white logo on left sleeve, white shirt visible under a sweatshirt, gray sweat pants with dark lined front pockets, dark shoes.

A weapon was neither displayed nor implied. The suspect fled on foot across Pratt Street into parking lot where he was observed getting into an older model four door gold or silver Saturn. The Suspect was last observed traveling south on Pratt Street to Orchard Lane.  There were no reported injuries.

Approximately $200 was taken during the robbery.
