8TH ANNUAL FORESTVILLE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL. 5 to 7:30 p.m. Games, activities and all events free. No rain date. Register your carved pumpkin or scarecrow between 3 to 4:30 p.m. for judging. Late entries will not be judged. Each carved pumpkin will be entered into a gift card drawing and judged on Spookiest, Funniest, Most Creative, and Most Original. Scarecrow rules in Nuchie’s lobby, Central Avenue, Forestville. Prizes $50, $25, and $25. Costume parade at 5 p.m. from Manross Library followed by a Pet Parade at Simply Hair. Pumpkin illumination at dusk. Festival and awards presented by Forestville Village Association.
