Three charged with being intoxicated in a public park

A complaint at Crescent Lake led to two men and a minor being charged with being intoxicated in a public park.

On Sunday, August 11, police received a complaint that people were consuming alcohol and throwing bottles in the town park.

After arriving at the lake, police found Ryan Haddock, 23, of Southington, Ryan Flannigan, 22, of East Windsor and a 17-year-old juvenile from Southington. All three were charged with having alcohol/being intoxicated in a public park.

As officers were trying to take Haddock into custody he refused to be placed and handcuffs and struggled with officers, ripping the uniform of one of the officers.

Haddock was also charged with interfering with an officer and littering. He was released on a $1,500 bond with an August 19 court date.

The underage minor was also charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
