Governor to attend Newtown remembrance in Plantsville Saturday morning

The governor’s office issued the following release about his arrival in town Saturday…

(HARTFORD, CT) – On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will speak at the Because of 26 ceremony in Plantsville, during which 26 butterfly bushes will be planted along the Southington Rail Trail to honor those lost six months ago in Newtown.  The event was organized by two Southington moms who, in response to the tragedy, vowed to have their daughters grow up in a community inspired by beautiful acts of kindness.
