Bristol man in serious condition following early morning crash

The Southington Police Department was informed that Michael Carlone of Bristol,  died at St. Mary’s Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on April 10.
No further details were released due to the active nature of this investigation.

A Bristol man is in serious condition following an early morning crash at the intersection of South End Road and Meriden Avenue.

According to police, Michael A. Carlone, of Bristol, was driving northbound on South End Road, approaching the intersection of Meriden Avenue. Carlone lost control of his vehicle and rolled it, with it coming to rest back on its tires north of the intersection.

Carlone sustained serious injuries due to the crash and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, where he is listed as being in critical, but stable condition.
