Election reform forum held by congressional reps in Farmington

The Observer received the following press release:



(Hartford) – Tuesday, March 26th, Congressman John B. Larson, Chairman of the Task Force on Election Reform, and Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty will host a forum on Election Reform. Currently, corporations and special interests have the ability to spend unlimited amounts of money without disclosure to try and influence our government. Larson and Esty will join Denise Merrill, Connecticut Secretary of the State along with leading experts to discuss these issues in our electoral process and explain what Congress is doing to fix it.


Those in attendance will have an opportunity to ask questions throughout the forum. The event is free and open to the public.
