Defense wins championships; Knights capitalize on turnovers in second half comeback

“There’s a reason that we’re 6-0 right now. We’re working our tails off every day, every practice, every lift, and every film session. That’s the mentality. We have to take it one game at a time and one period at a time,” he said. “This is step six. We get to enjoy this one tonight and a little bit tomorrow. Then, we’ve got to get back to step seven.”

Southington hoped to open their turf field with the contest, but the game has been moved to Falcon Field in Meriden. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
